π Welcome to Differential Equations (MTH 2102)! π
Dear Student-Teachers,
Welcome to Differential Equations (MTH2102), part of your Bachelor of Education (Secondary) Science programme at UNITE Campus Kabale. This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to understand, analyze, and solve ordinary differential equations and apply them to real-life situations in sciences, engineering, and education.
Throughout this course, you will:
- Explore first-order and higher-order differential equations.
- Learn techniques for analytical and numerical solutions.
- Apply mathematical modeling to real-world problems.
- Develop problem-solving, logical reasoning, and teaching skills.
Important Notices:
- Lectures will be conducted virtually using video conferencing.
- Attendance and active participation are essential.
- Continuous assessment and assignments will contribute 40% to your final grade, while the final exam accounts for 60%.
- Consultation hours are available Mondays & Wednesdays, 2:00β4:00 PM.
We look forward to an engaging and productive semester where you will grow both as learners and future educators. Letβs explore the world of differential equations together!
